This workshop answers all your unanswered questions about today's letter and email formats and applies the principles set out in the Style Manual adopted by the New Zealand and Australian Governments.
Differences in the formality of style between letters and emails are discussed, with the need to communicate with clarity a key objective.
At the end of this training you will be able to:
- understand that effective writing conveys information to the reader in a clear and concise way
- differentiate between letter writing and email conventions and intentions
- use courteous and concrete language to express yourself clearly
- use currently accepted New Zealand and Australian formats to write and edit effective letters and emails.
